Introduction of Cyclops

Cyclops is a very well known myth in the Greek and Roman mythology. This is considered to be a gigantic creature that had a single eye. There are also many people that may believe in these creatures even today.

The Cyclops is considered to be a very huge and gigantic creature. The size and power of this creature was so extreme that it is also said that they could uproot the trees right with the roots. It is considered to be a very prominent member of the primordial race of the giants. There is a great story behind it. It is believed that there was a great war shed between the Titans and the Gods. The Titans were very powerful and also had immense powers. They were very difficult to defeat so the Gods came up with a trick that would help them to defeat the Titans. Zeus the leader of Gods did release three Cyclopes from the dark pit that was called Tartarus. As a return to this favour the Cyclopes gave him the thunderbolt, Helmet of invisibility to Hades and also gave trident to Poseidon. These weapons made the Gods invincible. They then used these weapons to defeat the Titans and also succeeded. This was the start of the myth of the Cyclopes. The Cyclops is considered to be the son of Uranus and Gaia. The basic look of these creatures, as is described from centuries, has got a furious image. It can send shivers to any one that may imagine standing face to face with a single eyed giant.

However, as the time passes the myth and the fear of Cyclops is fading from the memories of people and also from the myths. We may still have a glimpse of Cyclops in some of the stories or in some of our bad dreams.

Introduction to Black Magic

Black magic is one of the most feared myths that are believed to exist even today. The super natural powers that some people have and use them to harm others are generally categorized as Black magic.

There are many myths and stories, which are told from centuries, in which some people are mentioned that have some supernatural powers that are used in evil intentions. Black magic generally involves a person that is a devotee of evil powers. In some myths it is also mentioned that the people that practice black magic are worshippers of gods that are considered to be evil. People, even today, believe in such myths and also take many precautions to make themselves immune to them. The practisers of Black magic are believed to be so powerful that they can destroy a person’s life. Some people even believe that by black magic people can even be harmed in a physical and mental way. They also have a concept that a person can kill anyone he or she wishes to by using black magic.

In today’s era we believe in god and also in the miracles that he can perform to enrich our lives with happiness and joy. Have we ever given a thought to the fact that in this world all the things are made in perfect equilibrium? There is light and also there is dark, if there is cold there is also heat, if we have ice we also have fire and many such things. We consider God as a power that is pure and good. But can you imagine the world without the opposite? If God’s power is considered to be good there must be something bad that must exist, If we consider it to be pure there has to be something impure and evil. I believe in God, so I do believe in evil or as we call it devil. So if we consider that our prayers are answered we cannot deny the possibility of non existence of the people practicing Black magic and also that their prayers might also be answered.

Well the truth cannot be found or tested unless we stand face to face with such people. To know the truth of Black magic is same as testing poison. Black magic will always be feared, unless we know the truth of the rituals.

Introduction of Wizard

A Wizard or Sorcerer is a person (male), who is capable of practicing or using magical powers. This is a myth that can be found in many parts of the world. In fact we can even classify it as a most common myth around the globe.

The Wizard is a person like any of us but the thing that distinguishes him from all is the magical power. It is widely believed that he may get these powers from some Supernatural or even an Occult source. From a long duration humans have believed that there are some powers that may exceed the normal limitations. This belief has played an important role in keeping the Myth of Wizard alive. From many myths and also from children stories, that has not much different source; we can encounter these wizards in both positive and negative roles.

May what be behind these stories and myths it can be commonly accepted that the myth of Wizard has become a part of our life. Even a child has a limited knowledge about them right from the bedtime stories and the fairy tales. This makes it impossible, even today when we are standing on the edge of Nuclear Age, to remove or eradicate the mythological character of Wizard from our superstitions.
